What we work on

Heating, cooling and ducts for manufactured homes

Six kinds of work, for single-wides, double-wides and the additions built onto them.

  • Furnaces

Gas and electric furnaces made for manufactured homes: repair, replacement and yearly checks.

    • Igniters, flame sensors and controls

    • Electric heating elements and sequencers

    • A carbon monoxide reading at every gas furnace visit

  • Central air and heat pumps

Outdoor units on a pad, with the coil in the furnace. We match the size to your ducts.

    • Capacitors, contactors and fan motors

    • Replacement units, quoted in writing

    • Heat pumps for homes with electric furnaces

  • Ductless mini-splits

For an addition, a sunroom or a room the ducts never reached.

    • One room or several

    • Heats and cools

    • No duct work under the home

  • Ducts and registers

The crossover between halves, the runs in the floor and the registers in each room.

    • Crossover duct repair

    • Floor register boots

    • Sealing and strapping loose runs

  • Thermostats and controls

A basic programmable thermostat set up and explained, or the wiring behind it fixed.

    • Thermostat swaps

    • Wiring checks at the furnace and outdoor unit

  • Yearly checks

A spring check for the air conditioner and a fall check for the furnace.

    • Each one spelled out on the list

    • Both on one visit, if you'd like

Which unit fits

A mini-split or central air?

Questions about replacing a unit

Can I add central air to a home that doesn't have it?

Often, if the ducts were built for it. Many data plates say whether the home is designed for central air and how large. We check the plate and the ducts first, and tell you before you pay for a unit.

Heat pump or furnace?

A heat pump heats and cools with electricity, and a furnace burns gas or uses electric elements. We write both choices down with the model and what it needs, and you decide.

Do you do window units?

We don't install them, but we'll tell you which size fits the room and whether the outlet can carry it.
